New Honda Elite E owner (SB50)

I just picked up a running Honda elite for my kid to ride. It runs well and the only thing I have had to do was put a better exhaust on it, someone had put a 33cc pocket bike muffler on it so I picked up a chamber for a 50cc pit bike and welded it on, works quit well, the pipe hits at about 15MPH and pulls nice to about 30. I may up jet some but for now its running good. The body is pink and has some cracks in it that I need to fix but it's all there so no real problems.
One question though, how do I find out what year the bike is? I got it with a bill of sale with the VIN on it.

1) Year should be printed on a sticker on the frame tube by the front fender
