Someone please HELP ME! Its so loud!

I bought a dio 2000 sk50m 3 days ago. Its been really great until today. I was going pretty fast (too fast) down a long slope at full throttle, and the sound of the engine changed. Now it has an extremely loud and open sound to it. It sounds kind of like a chopper. I think it still works though, but maybe the muffler cracked? I have almost no experience with scooters...

Someone please help me!

cheack were the down tube meets the muffler.

What would i be looking for at that particular place? a crack?

is there something that happens when you go way too fast on a scooter that might explain this?

yea cheack the whole muffer for crackes then well go from there, you might have a bad exaust gasket.

Its gonna be an obvious leak somewhere so yeah just do what mysree said..if its that loud you should be able to find it. or you could take the muffler off hold your finger over the outlet hole and fill it with water and see if it leaks

OK, this is a used scooter so I dont know what kind of history it has, but it seems like it cracked once, then was welded, and now has cracked again in almost the same way. should i get it rewelded or should i invest (not that i have nay money) in an aftermarket pipe?

Check the head bolts....they can back out

dio whatever..same price diff pipes..but you in ca so u better off findin one there.
