Just installed 21mm oko and black intake and it has 103 main 42 pilot to get it to run air fuel has to be screwed all the way in and idle all the way in / up max temp 260 I put 107 jet in ran like sh"t should I keep going down? I have molassi bbk cast

Up the pilot jet to get it to idle. Basically you want you get the size of pilot jet that you can get the idle air screw about 1.5 to two turns out that way you have some tunability with it. If the pilot jet isn't right the transition from bottom to mid range throttle will suffer.

Would moving clip on needle do anything?

72 malossi cast so moving the clip down will riching? My other bike has same set up but has 24 mm carb with same size pilot and no probs

Some people say I may have air leak but if I did would it be hard to start and idle erratic. What's best way to check ? Starts right up and runs good I new to the carb tuning

me two... lol i wood start with the pilot jet and down size it ... get the low end to be wright first... then work on the middle then the top ....

So is screwing in riching or out few people say diff just trying to be sure

Greetings:

PTSG gave you the correct remedy in the second post. ANY fiddling with screw a clips and mains is pointless if the Pilot is wrong for this setup. You can't latch on to another engine as Truth for what's Right for the Iron. Different carb, manifold, but also port timing and exhaust will and does result in some weird jetting needs. In this case it appears your 21 OK needs a bigger Pilot than your 24. Put it in and see.
