update 2/9/15: The spree is an animal, after swapping to an ebay performance cdi i have no misfire and no issues. very happy with this bike and i wouldnt even have it where it is today without ScooterSwapShop, cant thank G9 enough.

Hello all! new guy here to hondaspree.net but not at all new to the scoot world! ive been building/rebuilding my spree for close to a year now. the stock motor had a bbk and rocked 35mph all of one time before the case cracked and lost compression lol i had dreams about a crazy 2t built spree so i did some digging and without knowing a whole lot, i picked up a used bottom end 1e40qmb clone engine for cheap. things sat for months since i didnt really have an idea about what would fit on the clone motor and what wouldnt. i contacted brandon at SSS and progress began

the only thing chinese really left on this motor is the casing. just about everything else ive replaced with OEM yamaha or aftermarket.
parts list:
Malossi full circle crankshaft
polini corsa
malossi MHR pipe
Koso manifold
polini 21mm cp carb
polini vari and drive face
polini clutch and springs
cheapo belt
new starter
new oem flywheels (for starter motor and stator)
all gaskets, bearings, etc all new!

i stretched the frame of the spree 11" and braced it accordingly. im a massive wookie at 6'5 and a stock spree is just to d*** small.

to nowish, the motor ran yesterday for a min. i used the stock spree harness. its braced the F up so it better not flex (it will)

do us ruck folk have a bad name around hurr? believe me i thought i was the hottest s*** on my GY, then i rode my buddies corsa dio and i had a very sudden change of heart. Brandon has converted me to the badass world of the 2T and i have been enlightened.

Ruckus guys are typically tards..but you have a spree so you are ok in my book.

LOL its the yamanda spreema!! Its like an 89' 5.0 with an LSX swap.
Most (not all) ruckus guys are what we call swag *.. They usually talk down on me because I didnt spend $5,000 to have some shop build my scooter for me. Ruck guys remind me of Vespa snobs. But, how about that new Icebear PMZ-150?? Pretty sweet ride? LOL

Got the plastics trimmed and mocked up. No plans for paint. I built my mount a little wide, oh well adds flavor. Still need to take time and make a floor

Take 2 spree floor boards and cut them to fit.
Looks pretty sweet, I would gusset the mounts.

Absolutely .. plus they own vespas and lammys.. the bikes that started it all.. They are a work of art in stock form.. not a offroad scooter. But I am bias i guess.. Ive been a traditional skin since i was 16.
