99 ELITE 50S runs ok ,but hesitates.

I just replaced the carburetor on my 99 elite 50s, which corrected runaway condition, but when I ride it, as I accelerate it bogs down/ hesitates for a couple of seconds and then takes off and winds up to top speed. its like a hiccup in its acceleration curve.

from a dead stop does it bog then rolling around 20 she starts to accelerate? but i would check trans, springs, clutch etc. i just changed my trans do to to that problem i just asked you about..
