Oil Change?

Post by dlaithespy »

I dont know if this was posted before. But I recently bought an elite. The oil light came on so I put in more oil. Do I need to take out the used oil as well? Thanks!

You dont need to drain the oil. Just keep it topped off. These bikes are 2 stroke, and automatically mix the gas and oil so you do not have to. I just hope you didnt put regular motor oil in it, if you did, dont drive the bike, drain the oil tank immediatly, and go to your local motor sport dealor and get some genuine honda 2 stroke injector oil. It's about $5/quart, and will last you about 2 years.

no, no, its a left-handed monkey-wrench....but seriously, thats really mean, some people might take that seriously and spend hours on end looking for just the left-handed screwdriver...

And have them look for a can of A.I.R. to fill their air filters with, along with some blinker fluid

alright here's one. I worked at CarToys (car audio place) and we had a new employee. the manager and others, sent this kid to pick up "speaker grease". now, this wasn't just any new guy. poor kid was 18, thought he knew the world and had an attitude about everything. oh, and he was seriously sensitive to chemicals. anything would give him a rash, and he couldn't vacuum because of the dust. so, they send him to another store, who would play along, to pick up the stuff. they gave him some water with coloring in it in a lidless container. he took it and headed back. so my manager calls him and says " you have a lid on that stuff, right? oh man, you can't have that in an enclosed vehicle with your condition!". so the guy shows up with all his windows down, holding the cup out the window. we all had a good laugh, cause they do that to anyone who falls for the "grease" trick. I kinda felt for the kid, until he got fired for going into other people's sales and putting his name on them, thereby stealing the commission. so yeah, f++k that kid.
