The scooter in question is '87 Aero 50 AF05E.
The PIPE in question is the NEW ScooterSwapShop pipe.
The Main Jet will need increasing.
What is the OEM spec of the Main Jet ??
(too cheap to download manual...eats up my bytes)
How much bigger Main Jet is normal ??
Am I Limited to a Pilot Jet that cannot be changed ??
Thanks in advance...

Two virgin AF05s I've dismantled both had 82s. One was a Japanese-spec DJ-1. We know there's a way to enlarge the Pilot, found on your Golden carb..., but I don't recall anyone posting outcomes. If I were running an 05, I'd spring for an Arreche/Amal carb for Honda and open up more possibilities. It runs stock intake, airbox, cable and bystarter.
Wheelman-111
Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.
"ISO": '03 Vespa ET4 Malossi187 74MPH
Flash 9: 2001 Elite SR Contesta 72 ZX Tran, 9:1 Gears, Stock Airbox/Carb/Pipe 58.8 MPH
Punkin: 2010 Vespa/Malossi S78, 61MPH
In treatlands.tv selection of carbs, I found no Arreche, but did see some Amals.
I suppose i should do some testing before rushing into more cash expenditure.

As I see it dun rite, I may not need to change carbs with the stock bore.
If I did a bbk, I suppose I would pick between the 16 & 17 1/2...
What is the stock intake I.D. ?...gone to check Wiki...
