Post by shortyshort5 »

someone please help a noob out.. i just got a spree and want it to go a little faster (29 mph right now).. i want to try and drill a hole in the muffler to gain 2-4 mph but i dont want to mess it up and have to buy another muffler.. im done tons of searches on here and everyones drillin holes all over the place.. so someone please tell me, where do i really drill the hole?(in the center at the tip/end of the muffler or in the center on the other side more towards the front of the spree) whats the best size drill bit to use? drill all the way thru the muffler? i hate to post this but please just help a noob out.. thanks!

I believe its right on the end of the muffler, where it rounded.

and you should drill four holes like this:
(view from the back)
_____
/.O..O.\
|.........|
\.O..OQ

With the Q being where the stock tip is.

can someone else confirm? keep in mind you'll have to increase jetting to compensate so you dont mess up ur engine.
projects galore :nerd:
