Pics of my rat scooter...

Post by se50 »

Here's the pics of my rat scooter. Note the diamond plate floorboard, larger tip on the exhaust, missing plastics, and wheelie bar. I removed my oversized milk crate, since I needed the bungee cord that held it on. :D

Most of my riding with it is off road. With a run to a junkpile a mile or so away up the road, every so often. :D

Actually, it looks better than when I bought it. When I bought it, it had this lovely faded pink floorboard that was almost completely broken away. I didn't break any plastics on it. Once I get a nicer scooter (possibly a Jog), there will be no wheelie attempts until I can really wheelie, since that'll be my good scooter.

My current scooter was supposedly totalled years ago, and was a little runner bike at a junk yard, until the CDI went out, and the previous owner bought it. He used it to run over ot the neighbor's (after he fixed it) less than a few dozen times. I really wish I did have a scooter with good plastics.

I just don't want to spend $200 on new used side panels. That's about what the last set went for. Why spend $200 on my scooter that needs new rings, belt, etc, when I can get a Jog for $500?

Mine's an SE50. That's why I haven't bought new side panels. :D Everybody and their brother (not literally) wants them. And they will pay a lot for them.
