Can I add a Kick Start to a 1985 Aero?

I know you can add a kick start to the sprees that dont come with a kickstart, by drilling a hole and adding the kickstart mechanism. Can I do that to an 85 aero?

I'm not sure you can drill a hole and add the parts nor do I think it would be cost effective. But you can get he cover from another af05e motor from later aeros or elites and it bolts right on.

I forgot you will also need a drive face from a kicker model as well because your drive face is smooth and doesn't have the teeth required for the kicker to engage.

Yes you can convert an 86/87 trans cover with front face.
