ct intake and oko carb questions

Post by MrJumps »

I sanded the literal f*** out of the ct and cleaned up the metal powders and all odd the ct and carb. I lightly/smoothed ported the ct upper half, can I do port work on the bottom half? The reeds seem to get caught and I don't know if you can take some of the molding meat of or will it allow air to go around the reed cage. Anyone know what I am talking about and how to deal with this? I am scared of breaking the reed cage from this. Any pictures of the bottom with any porting or how its supposed to look are greatly appreciated.

Ya, I ran into the same thing. I had to grind on my ct lower half inside walls to fit my reed block, but I didn't use the one it came w. I used a kx65 reed block. I also had to scrape the sides of the reed block, but not much just smoothed it.

Ok gotcha, sand the insides down and make it fit easy.
