HIGHEST 86 Honda Spree Mileage EVER! LOOK!

Post by jerz40 »

Ok guys, I think this is the highest Honda Spree Mileage we've ever seen! I came across this speedometer on ebay, from someone who parted out a 1986 spree, and when I looked at the speedometer my jaw dropped! It shows 24,732 miles, I have never seen one so high EVER!! And I use to think 8,000 miles was high..... Now that's a Honda for ya!

Yeah, but they rely on the "spree" as a daily. If left 100% stock and never take it.apart or fool with it besides maintance you should see close to 50ks off a 2 stroke scooter. I know that sounds high but the guys that own vespas can get that many miles, any other vehicles should. Now the issue comes along where someone runs cheap oil, bad gas, takes the head off to clean and forms a minnor airleak, exhaust clogs from to much low rpm life. You gota keep it cracked open wot all its life. 2 strokes live for the wot. Now I wanna see a 4stroke gy6 break 50ks without issue. The only scooters that ive seen with a 5l4t break the 50k mark where the rucks.

But yes that speedo is almost worth the benjiman and sorrow doubt. I say do it if you must but you can also wind yours up too. A corded power drill with a good choke can be clamped down right on it, take it on for a few hours and see how many miles youve racked up haha.

Also asa side note, is there a way, please pm me, to roll back the millage, its for resale and/or keeping track on my new motor. Not resale of the whole bike just the speedo. To allow them to adjust to their milage.

:eyeroll: Ha! No it wasn't, this was a legit bike bud. Originally used at motocross, then used at SFO airport to get around on. Have all the paperwork and everything showing actual miles and history.
