Mixing fuel scent into 2stroke oil

I have been wondering if it is ok to mix small amounts of scent into the 2stroke oil?
I know KLOTZ (I think) is the name is scented but I'd rather have a different smell.
And I'm sure your wondering why I want to do this, and it's because my spree is a 1987 and I have a 1983 FA50.
They both have less than 1300 miles on them and want to make sure I can tell by smell that the oil pump stays working.
I figured that would be the easiest way to do it.

Can you link us the product that your wanting to use? I searched it and well it came up normal oil but no scented oil. If you want to know if it is running run motul offroad 800 it smokes a ton. If there isnt a smoke cloud then you know whats uo. Plus is smells so good, like candy.

Ipone makes stawberry scented 2 stroke oil. I use it myself. It will take some searching but there are actual scents to mix with fuel. They have at least a dozen different cool smells that comes out the exhaust. Years ago I had read on moped army I think it was about people using popouri oil in moped tanks as a joke. The unsuspecting victims led would all of a sudden smell like flowers. Never tried it but no reason why it wouldn't work. Some types of Diffuser oil would probably work because you heat it to get the scent. Some compounds don't smell the same if you burn them.

Klotz R-50 two stroke premix oil has a nice scent, I used that for ten years on my KX500. Everyone likes that smell, but I dont think Klotz reccomends it for oil injection, check thier website for thier reccomendations.
I think Jegs or Summit sells gas scent additive, like root beer, strawberries and bubble gum.

thank you all for the replies im deff going to go get some tonight. I know you can add it to the fuel to get the scent but im wondering if any ill effects on using it in the oil tank, on the oil injection system. but I will know for sure this weekend lol. I have been thinking of bypassing the oil pump and premix anyways. wish me luck!!!

The ipone stuff is amazing, it makes me sick its so strong. The strawberry is amazing. Scoot city is what they call it. It was 25 shipped on amazon and its oil that has the scent in it. No ill effects ive seen or heard of.
