Hello All,
I'm back into the scooter modding scene. Just picked up another SB50 and wanted to know what motors are out there that is a direct drop in fitment or drop in with little modifications for fitment.
Are there other types of scooter brand engines that can drop in? If so what are they?
What motors can I get now that are easy to find?

Re: 1989 Honda Elite SB50 Motor Swap
Greetings:
Consider a Variated AF05E engine from the Aero, SE50 Elite ('87 only in the US), or early SA50 Elite models to replace your non-variated AF05 engine. Some creativity in the engine mount and shock positioning will be required. You can expect better acceleration and improvement in top speed to 40MPH with an all-stock "SE05" engine, and a bit more with variator and exhaust modification.
