How to repair seat foam?
Fixing an old 86' spree we have and the seat cover is in pretty bad condition so we're going to replace that. I noticed the foam is also in pretty bad condition and missing a chunk on the left side. I found some foam that feels and looks the same density, do i just cut and tape it ( what tape?) or make the foam part from one piece instead of bits and pieces? Thanks
You can glue in foam chunks with automotive spray glue (used for carpet), and reshave the shape with a knife.
Unless you like to sew, just take it to an upholstery shop or buy a used one complete.
