This post is motivated by no time and lazinesss.E start.on recently squired above bike does not crank.New battery toppeoff charge the starter is different from what I am used to sooo.What is most common malfunction?Should I start checking at switch or starter.

Could be many things dude. I guess the most obvious to check would be are you pulling on the left brake lever while trying the starter button? Is the tail/stop light bulb blown?

^^yup beat me to it. Key on, hold brake, tap starter button. If nothing, check for brake lights, if still nothing, check for voltage at the starter when you hit the button. Sometimes the starter relay goes out, sometimes the starter goes out, just learn to kick start
