Aero 125 Electric Drain

Post by Will5502 »

Start the scooter with a freshly charged battery. Let it run/idle for 30 minutes. Completely drains the battery. Can't use lights/horn etc while it's running once the battery is dead. Everything works when the battery is charged.

What could be pulling so much power?

The fact that the battery is supplying voltage to the ignition and lights while running, along with NOT being charged by your faulty stator is plenty to drain completely in 30 minutes...imho.

Is the stator similar to an alternator? Still trying to figure out how these bikes work....
