Another Idle Question

i just got in from the garage, cleaned the carb again inspected the float/needle operation during assembly. I didn't notice a diff in the flow of fuel w/ or w/o the inline filter.tomorrow i'll see if it runs any better w/o the filter. my muffler is in pretty rough shape, there is a hole rusted through and flakes of rust fallin off, down pipe looks ok. I didn't see any washer restricting anything or signs of there ever being one. oops left my beer in the garage, at least i know it wont be warm when go get it
