Got it running, not driving, just running. I've got all the plastics stripped off and the carcass pretty well cleaned up. How does everything get so coated with oil and sand? Can't people put oil in the tank without spilling?

I've asked myself the same thing. It just works it's way everywhere I guess.

Another reason why premixing is a good thing, no more caked on gritty oily messes to contend with!

Ha, should have seen my Spree when I first got it. Caked on oil all over the top of the oil reservoir, all over the engine, the intake, the carb, and it had been there for about 15 years. HeII, I'm STILL cleaning the stupid thing. Could have sworn they poured the oil in from 12 feet up in the air.
