noise at idle

i have this noise at idle. its almost like a rattling or like something rolling around. its on a my 2001 elite S. its on my new engine i just put in. it only has about 20 miles on it. i bought the engine from vt cycles with a new crank, bearings and seals, has big bore kit, etc. i tried to trace it down with my stethoscope. it seems like its coming from near the front part of the engine. i cant really tell whether its coming from the flywheel side or the trans side. only happens at idle tho. my first thought was maybe roller weights? would they make a kinda rattling or rolling around noise when the engine is spinning slow? has anyone experienced this before?

today i also noticed that it only happens when the bike is warm. more so after its been rode around. still cant pinpoint the area thats its coming from.

mine used to do that after a rebuild, i tracked it down to a piece of carbon rattling around the exaust.

my se did that.. b/c when one of the rings broke it went in to the pipe... lol it took me forever to figure that one out.
