The scooter has new fuel, new spark plug, new battery and put some carb cleaner in the carb and it has only started one time.
It has not started since, however, it is turning over constantly, but for some reason it will not start.
It was sitting in the garage over the winter and I did not realize I had to put fuel stabilizer int he gas tank, but that problem was resolved. Now, if I can just get it started once, I think it should be fine.
Outside of putting some more carb cleaner in the carb or some starter fluid in the carb, I do not know what else to try.
It is a 2002 Rhode Zebra 40-50 (49cc) and scotter help in this area is hard to come by.
Any suggestions with what to try next? I did have the plug gapped to match the previous plug in case that mattered.
Scooter will not start

were are you located? clean your carb first off. you need to clean it very carefully. then check your spark and compression. there is a chance that in that single start the rings broke free and you lost compression.

Did you remove and clean the carb?

does it have good compression? if not lik myspree said the rings might of got stuck on the piston but if u can get it started and running a few minutes it will peobably fix itself. a good way to get a quick boost in compression when u need to start the bike is dump oil in the plug hole
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
