Hey All,
I was going through the service manual for my AF34 and the length of the front forks and rear shock are not listed.
Can someone help me out with the dimensions? My front forks are seized and the rear shock is pretty much blown out. I saw a nice YSS on amazon for the rear, but I'm not sure if it will fit as I don't have the measurements of the stock one.
Also, if anyone can recommend a drop in replacement rear shock that performs well it would be greatly appreciated (I'm 185cm 95kg)
Cheers!

Re: Rear Shock and Front Suspension Measurements
Can you tell us where you are located? Europe? Asia? Australia? Canada? Rear shock should be 310mm and the front is just about the same but you won't be able to look up the front shocks that way. They are listed as for a Honda Dio AF35. Search the web for that scooter and you will find them. AF35 Dio is the disc brake designation. The AF34 was for the drum brakes. The motor is a different numbering system but happens to be stamped AF34. The frame/VIN number is another numbering system but also happens to be AF34. The model code is SK50M Live Dio. Yes, Live, like - alive. Use those numbers to find parts for it or you could just find an SA50 Elite frame/scooter and swap in the motor.
My suggestion is to use a stock AF28 (Dio SR) carb and the corresponding stock throttle cable. If you use a bigger aftermarket carburetor, it may be difficult to tune unless you are using a hi-performance pipe. Was your plan to use a stock exhaust pipe?
