Honda Aero 125cc My 2 stroke gave me a 1 stroke

Post by ErichtheDread »

Hello everyone. I am hoping someone here can help me with the nightmare & ire that I am blessed with everyday knowing I am unable to ride the beast. It has compression, spark, air, and fuel. But it always leaking in some capacity around the carb. I checked pilot jets, cleaned float & valve. Fire right up. But its never idled well after 3 or 5 mins and would die unless throttled. Now the bystarter got damaged & I have removed it. Gonna try n go manual choke. Now its turns and wants to start but doesn't. Does anyone have any methods to get it to start without bystarter? Any aftermarket manual choke? Why does it hate me? I don't get it, supremely frustrated. I have a petcock & new fuel line coming in the mail today so...idk? It is currently running gas from a rigged external gas tank & i dont know fellas i am desperate to get it running. My mom had a stroke herself Sunday & was released yesterday. I have got to stop by the & frequently too now, but the aero is my only means of transportation. Please help or ask any questions to help you get more insight?

You need to have the bystarter in place for the carb to work. It sounds like you have a clogged idle jet as well. I'd suggest running down another carb for your bike. They make a manual bystarter (or used to) but I haven't seen one in years.
