1000 to spend
I'll have about 1000 to spend after I sell my spree. I am looking at this 2000 elite s around here for 850 but i was wondering if there were any other scoots in this price range that are capable of being modded enough to go about 60-65.
What do you guys think? There are some TGB's around here for 1000 but I know nothing of mods for them.

that would be a good clone to get. Not sure about quality of plastics and such, but you could probably build it up same as a zip since it should be the same case.windycity85 wrote:what about that BMK Jazz or whatever its the same thing as that turbocam vento. Anyone know anything about it?

yup.
oh and here's some real good links for parts:
www.indycycleranch.com
www.thescootercentral.com
www.provoscooter.com
with prices ranging in that order. let me know what you'd like to do and I can narrow down some recommendations.

i dissagree, i think if you want a good reliable bike the honda elite is a PERFECT choice, i know alot of you guys got these things for these chinese made 4 strokes and cheap bikes like the vento, but once you own a honda, the quality will not dissapoint you. i have worked on a few bikes here and their and horizontal motors are hard to work on, just the overall spacing. if your going horizontal keep it original, yamaha JOG, thats my opinion

catch me if you can (",)
