What maintenance needs to be done?

Post by PimpinSpree »

My spree has almost 3,000 miles and i just rebuilt the top end. And removed all the carbon on the exhaust port? What other things need to be done. Ive heard clutch pads, what will this do. Aren't those just either they work or they don't? My spree just doesn't seem to be quite as fast as it once was.

Just to say it again:

Download the service manual, all of the mantinence procedures and what you should do at certain mileage is in it!!

Sorry for yelling but it has been said many times,

my question was more of "is there any maintanence i can do to make it go faster?". Only possible thing i saw was clutch shoe, but isn't that just it either works or it doesn't?

look around in either the tech documents or the advanced tech documents sections of the forums. There is a limited amount of things you can do to the spree to make it faster.

clutch pads are like brake pads, they will chatter when worn.
Can't afford speed then stay away from it!

that has absolutely nothing to do with anything relevant. I'm not saying its slow, I'm just wanting to know if any of the normal maintenance is directly related to power...........*

so if they are worn, would it be obvious?
