i got a 86 spree and everything is stock everything runs good goes about 30-31 on flat ground i was wanting to know what would be the best way to make it run faster

well if your getting 30 already the next free/cheap mod is to drill out the exaust it really helps on low end power and launch. you can also file out the intake so there arent any sharp angles in it or put a sb50 intake and reeds on it. modding the intake will also put alot of bottom end power in it and add a little to the topend. you can shave the head up to .020" to increase compression. then you can o the pulley mod this takes away bottom end power and puts it on the topend. Doing all of the mods i just mentioned will get you in the 35-40 mph range.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

What do I need to do in order to hit 31 stock?? I also have an 86 spree and the max I can get is about 26. Do I need to clean or adjust something?

have you decarbed and derestricted the exaust, replaced the belt, cleaned the carb, replaced the airfilter and cleaned the intake ports on the airbox? is this a spree iowa?
