URGENT question about Siphoning

i have my carb detached and the two red hoses detached from it and want to drain the gas tank. which hose do i suck on? and how hard do i suck? when will i know that the gas is close to my mouth? i really dont want to end up in the emergency room because i do it wrong. advice please!

Suck on the vacuum tube that goes from the bottom of the fuel valve to the intake pipe. Gas doesn't flow through this tube if your valve is working correctly.

i realized i was sucking on the right one, but it won't keep coming unless you suck and then cover the end of the tube right after. anyway, thank you.

good thing i drained it, the gas in the tank was yellow!

Well, gasoline is yellow.

really? well, now i feel like a real idiot. just because it didn't look yellow going in... hehe. wow. thanks for putting me in my place.
