A lot of time the motor flood, didn't start and i need to clean the sparkplug!!
But when the motor run the carburator leak gas A LOT from the overflow hole on the top and the middle of the carburator and when i stop the motor, it stop to leak???
I have jet #78 and the clip on the needle is set in the middle!
I have a compression at 117 psi.
The gas stops leaking when the motor stops because that is what it suppose to do. It runs on a vacuum which draws the gas into the carb when the motor is cranked over or started.
As far as gas pouring out of your carb is your gasket in the carb?
Is your carb attached securely?
Do you even have a float in your carb?
Are your idle and air jet screws in the carb?
If yes to all I would suggest finding a different carb on E-Bay.
I think you should download the Spree Manual under the technical documents forum. It would help you alot on understanding the workings of the carb, throttle valve, jets, etc.
Improper jet size will not cause gas to overflow from the carb. Clip position on the needle jet will not cause gas to overflow from the carb either. Have you checked the float and needle to see that they are working properly?
Everything it's ok now. My carb is clean and didn't leak now...
My spree work great and run at 52 km/h! WOW!
At this speed, it's scary to drive this small scooter!!!
I clean again the carburator and i leave 24H in the carb cleaner...
I reinstall the original jet and put the needle clip in the middle.(I read the Workshop Manual!).
