Elite rear wheels

Post by II Tall »

Does anyone know if '89 50cc Elite rear wheels are the same as '95 50cc rear wheels. Can one be used to replace the other?
There is no such thing as a unique idea, just better uses of the old ones.

According to the honda elite service manual, both wheels accept a 3.00x10 tire. So i guess they should be the same. I just checked this honda elite se..guessing late 80s...and the tires on the wheel are 2.5x10. My understanding was that the 3.00 is the width of the tire, but i'm not sure on that. Maybe somebody else can shed some light on this.

im pretty sure that the the wheels are not interchangeable. The 89 motor is diffrent from a 95 motor. unless it it was swapped before you got it

sweet. in that case im going to take my metallic blue rims off my black 92 and put them on yellow 96.
i think im going to do that then put some type of blue stickers or graphics on it. Yellow and dark metallic blue has the racing feel im looking for.
