Ya its just a stock spree but man did I f*** that cylinder up... It wasn't useable anymore, let's put it that way.

well, i think im ganna start on the engine now. i just finished degreasing the block and pretty much is ready for paint. ill take pics as i go. :wink:

ok, so heres some quick pics i took. the paint came out great. i let the paint bake in front of the torpedo heater for 20 min, and comes out with a good gloss. :wink: i threw up my 86 se50 engine (on the left) to give a comparison of the 85 nb50 im buildin. i also had to condense the scooters to the bed of the ElCamino to make some room lol. 1 and a half car garage just dont cut it. my 84 is behind the ElCamino. anywho, ill keep postin as i go. :wink:

thats nice, i have a ranchero i got from a guy down the street for free, he said take it off my land today and its yours. i did got it running poorly and in the spring will attempt to fix it. but it seems like it has a warped head.

ok, have the new crank bearings, crank seals, and gasket in. :D the next thing to do is the transmission. :wink:

there is tons of bikes out there with out gear changes that run fine. Sure a top speed it wont last as long as some one with a gear change.
yes i have run my se50 and areo with out gears and it works fine i had it for about a year

Not a fan of all red engines but I like how its tuning out. Methinks red block with black shroud and polished belt cover looks best.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

ok, engines done. still workin on the carb, and have to paint the muffler. oh yea, its a NB50, not a se50 s. 8)

looks like its gonna be fast, are NB50 motors the motors in the 85 aeros that are suposed to be really fast?
