oil drip and other stuff

A drip every 5-10 seconds...Cool...that's what it is doing.

Now that I know that is working......but I am not getting any smoke out of the exhaust. It is runnning rich as the plug is fouling....plug cleaner is one of the best things I ever bought.....my cb750 used to like to foul plugs.

Carb has been cleaned, new oil with strainer cleaned, good compression (120), new air filter (no mods)...

When cold, it starts quick adn smokes a lot after it has warmed up it quits.

Wny ideas?

how much of an effect does the bystarter have...there is continuity but no resistance, which I guess means it is bad.

I ran it with out the bystarter and take off was much more responsive and the scooter is quicker but top end starts sputtering.

Try cleaning your muffler out.

Apply power to the bystarter, the needle will VERY slowly move outward if its good.

It must be toast. I did and...nothing. It was in the "down" position when I pulled it out.

Looks like time for another one.

Any one have a good one?
