Ok. On my '86 Spree plug chop at WOT is very nice brown just as it should be. 1/2-3/4 throttle it gets black. Put it back in and run it WOT and it goes brown again.
Scooter idles fine. Carb is clean, new air filter, good compression. One thing to note is that I do have the bystarter disconnected as it wont run with it connected. They bystarter is new and with voltage it does extend. There is voltage at the connectors.
