help identifying cases...

Post by greg_bingham »

i'm afraid after looking at burnttoast's pics, the cases i bought do not appear to be 1998, they look like cases prior to 94... if any of you can take a look and tell me for sure send me an email where to send the pictures before i pay for the things...

greg

PS appreciate it in advance!!

To the best of my knowledge, that looks like a 94+ case to me. But im not 100% sure. Im going to go ahead and post the pictures so Burnt Toast can look. I have never had my bike broke down that much. He has.

hmm I'm gonna say it looks 94+ but definitely hard to tell from those angles. If you can take a top view of ports, that would tell what it is with more certainty. Dio style ports are pretty distinct.

I'll atleast compare my stock crank once I get home, but some port views would really help.

Take him to court?
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
