idle and air screw What am I missing?

Post by rpm9001 »

I just got done cleaning my carb on my 1995 sa50s and when I took out the air and idle needle/ adjusted screws I must not of noticed the springs and or washers behind them. If they were in there I must of blasted them with air not knowing they were in there.

All I have is the 2 needle adjusted needles and one spring. I looks at the parts brake down on bike bandit and it looks like I should have 2 springs and maybe a washer...

What should I have? It was hard to tell on the parts list.

Trying to figure what I'm missing.

Thanks

Anyone have a old carb? I would buy what ever I'm missing or the whold carb

I'm cleaning the carb on my aero (spree) and mine's the same. The spring came from the idle needle, not from the drain needle.

There is 2 needles on the carb, not in cluding the drain screw. I believe both of them have springs.

I know how many their is, I got it now, Their is also orings, small washers, and springs on the needle. I did not realize they were stuck in the opening when I put it in the parts washer. I just ordered a new kit. runs great now.
