elite tire options

anyone know/try running a 3.00x10 tire on a 87 elite 50S? i am currently running 2.75x10 tires, and the Honda dealer claims I should be running 2.50x10, thought that was spree size only.

your main concern is clearance... Bigger tires are of course wider and taller. The Height can give you more top end, like adding gears. Im pretty sure when i had my 89e with a dio conversion i had a 3.0 tire on it...
