Speaking of mini bikes I need to post a pic of my dads childhood death trap, a 250cc snowmobile engine on a minibike.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

just a little update on this.

i got the motor mounted and running good. Only problem being that the the motor has a pulley were a sprocket should be.
i talked to a good friend of mine about one, but it turned out he didnt have any that fit this chain. He did however tell me were to find one for a good price.
So i guess next time i head out that way (sometime this week) i will swing by and order one.

After i put that on, its as simple as running a brake cable, tighting down the motor all the way, and slapping a seat on there.
I do not have the seat i want to use done yet so im just going to slap an old yamaha jog seat on there if i get the bike going before the seat is done.

ok so, i had to de-mount the motor.
I got my sprocket and put it on the motor.

i also got some help and got the motor all tuned up and runing perfect. Kicks *.

the todo list is down to this...

-remount motor.
-Run gas and brake lines.

If all goes to plained tomorrow. It will be done by noon.
Now, By 'done' i more less mean working. I do plain on tearing it all back apart, Paint it, Make a new seat, Get better tires, Stuff like that. But thats all later on.

ended up having to take 7 links off the chain. it was to to long before.

Mounted the motor up and tightened everything down. Started it up and everything was working perfect. idled good, revved up good, clutch worked amazingly, Even the red neck breaking system worked good.

I have it up on the back of a trailer right now so its easier to work on. When i fired it up. I worked on it for about an hour and then the rail really started coming down hard so i had to call it a day,

Things left to do...
-finish running gas and brake lines.
-mount kill switch in good spot.

i should be out riding this thing tomorrow.

well, got it going and on the road.
Runs sloppy. my guess is because it still has the original plug.
I just need to get a new plug.

i got everything done besides the breaks. I mean, come on. Who really needs brakes?
