You might not like it but it's slimmer and lighter, and despite the look... comfy

Thats the fan shroud, this is an air cooled engine, it has no radiator.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Yes.

i have seen it on allot of race bikes.
Its really not a bad idea. But after riding a super bumpy roads(the area i live in) i ended up putting it back on. If i live in a city though i think i might do it.

you can race with a stock bore. (gears, new filter, derestricked everything, jets, and a few other things)

Im doing that right now, I have great speed and power. I love it. Plus with the stock cylinder i can hold it WOT for hours on end.

But saying "all out race" isnt right. Your not all out race till you have a full stocker 117 or 124 cc bike.

My point exactly, this kid sounds like the type of person who will grow up to put 6" pipes on a civic and get his * whipped by camaros and trans ams every friday night.

Nothing was better when I had my 13.0 second festiva than beating up on guys in mustangs and camaros with this same attitude. Don't get me wrong I HATE CIVICS. But power to weight is a more honest measure than cubic inches....

Sorry if I sounded that way, there is a sandrail (flat four VW air cooled (unknown size)with a 4 sp bus trans)parked next to dads camaro that would probably out run the camaro in a street race. A 13 second festiva is * awesome, what did you have in it? The only festiva I saw was slow as f*** and was pretty much a floor it at stoplights to keep up car.

so i took off the padding of my seat. comfy. and you sit like 3 inches lower, so those corners can be hit a little harder. just threw on some black paint and am very pleased.

i like how people call it 'comfy'.
Its not really that great. The stock foam makes it 'comfy'. a better word for this is "does not feel bad"
