Piston Rings

Post by jeremydde »

You might wanna modify the part where you describe installing the rings, then the piston into the bore. Chances are that if you need a "how-to" to install your bore you may not be too observant that the rings have to fit in the ringlands at ~10 and 2 to lock them in place properly. And if they didn't complete that step then putting the piston into a well oiled bore means nothing. It may even result in a broken ring once frustration sets in.

I havent had mine apart yet but isnt the clutch spring loaded and liable to fly apart if your not holding on?
