A Vespa is what somebody with too many dollars but not enough sense gets when they're too afraid of riding a real motorcycle to get a Harley.

People sometimes refer to my Spree as a Vespa, and I always correct them.

lol ever rode one? They are so off balance because of the motor location. Its takes some getting used riding it.
Nice and stylish but overated

Yeah...I've never been on one.
I think they look pretty killer though.
Are they a lot of maintenance?

Most owners probably take them to the dealer to be "serviced" at least twice a month. Whether they need it or not is up to you to determine.

Exactly, MUCH less balanced than say any Honda smallframe scoot. And they're a pain to work on!

Ex, on this past river rally I took my Elite, they had a "ghymkana" event were you basically went through an obstacle course with cones, turns around barrels and jumps. ALL the Vespa type scooters either fell or wiped out somewhere! lol it was pretty entertaining. Then i tried it on my Elite and didnt touch the ground once and got the best time, winning the event :)
projects galore :nerd:

LOL. good job on the challenge course. $4k vespa - $1k elite = $3k lesson.
