Summertime is lousy if you need something real bad on ebay, hundreds of others looking now too. Park it now, start looking in winter/fall, lots of stuff comes up for Hondas. Trust me, you'll get very few bucks on eBay as those who really need the certain parts may snipe 'em for cheap.Put ads in local places that you are looking-WANTEDS, you might be shocked as some people do have these kicking around and won't have any desire to give them away and they might know what the parts they need, do cost.
Some things like t. signals and other lighting can be had as generic if you wish to learn a few things.
Do NOT give this thing away if discouraged! I buy alot of Yamaha stuff for my scoots. A prev. owner can be hesitant about spending $32 on a Cheng Shin Tire because of the install cost too and thinks it'll keep adding up so he'll dump for $200 or less. I've scored numerous bikes like this and never lowball a guy, I pay what they ask as they have no idea it's all pretty good to buy parts and work on. And did you know that almost no Scooter Dealership gets asked the following:
"When I pay you $3000 for a new one, are parts expensive and how much do they cost?"
My advice? Find out what a lousy rear wheel is worth with the drum integrated into the thing and it'll teach you to check your brakes often, replace the shoes before they nail the drum.
Keep this 40 dollar find and play around with it, you'll learn alot before you invest in something newer/more expensive as that's what most of us evolve to. My local shops charge $90 per hour and I haven't given them anything but money for 50% of required parts over the last 20 years and I even invested in a No Mar Tire Changer to do my own rubber-they charge $38 install per rubber with balance, I do it for friends for free and even the balancing
