Being that you only paid $75 for the Aero, with $225 invested in it (to reach the same $300 that they want for that Chinese pos) you could have had a great scooter. '83-'84 Aeros are not easy to find parts for (I know, I own one) but they can be found between the Honda dealer, ebay, etc. You can't find ANYTHING for those Chinese bikes. Most of the new ones around my area are sold by private individuals who bought them by the container load. Look at the pictures on Craigslist - they're all taken in front of self storage buildings.
You have two things going against you right now - you're in a hurry and you don't want to spend much. Deals can be had, but you have to be patient. And Aeros can be restored, but again you have to be patient. You're not going to bring one back from the dead in a week's time.

WHICH IS BETTER?
Which is a better deal the '03 Geely for $200, or this 1981 Express for $300?
