drilling exhaust?

Post by Mackeral61 »

alot of people have mentioned drilling the exhaust from the end opening.

1. What size drill bit is recommended
2. The little end opening is at an angle pointing downwards a bit in relation to the main large exhaust tank (I guess to direct the exhaust towards the pavement) with the small opening I cant see where more than one hole could be made unless a fairly small drill bit is used and even then they would be close together.
3.I understand I have been a pain with questions getting this Spree which I found thrown away at the curb running well (it still had a 1986 tag on it with 2k miles on odom) but this website is so awesome with people willing to help, I never turn down free help.
3. When I ordered my petcock off E Bay....WINCYCLES actually sent me two (for no extra charge) because they said there were 2 different thread sizes coming off the gastank....I used the smaller of the 2 for mine so now I have an extra new petcock I'm willing to give someone if they just PM me.

Thanks all

Dunno, seemed to work for me just fine

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
