Holy SHI*!!!!!

Post by Arcticcat440snopro »

well, i got my crankshaft and the top end put on my 1998 honda elite s, and i took it out for a little test drive down the alley, and no head lights, or tail lights, but the blinkers horn and the starter engaged. so whats up with that? but besides that, back to the story. Ok well my first time having it off the stand, i sat on it, and lightly gaver the gas, and it took off like a rocket ship, i mean i didnt even give it more than 1/4 throttle! i dont know but its the fastest moped i have ever ridden, but, after the next 20 feet down the alley, my rear tire slipped off the rim, half was on, half was off. but that was alright. i have like 10 other tires. so i'll be able to take it for a real test tomarrow :)
wish me luck!

can you refresh my memory again on the steps of breaking it in? i know you have to have some premix in your first couple tanks, but what ratio? and i know the half throttle thing and varrying speeds, but what else?

the stock oil injector is good but you want to wire tie it open.
Then just add like 1oz of 2stroke to a gas tank.

you did upjet right?
