I found this here in town. The guy that owns it says it's a 1976 Honda Hobbit. You need to premix the gas and oil. To start the engine, you need to start using the pedals. Goes 18mph. The same guy owns 2 Sprees...and a 1956 Vespa that he bought new in 1956...cool old cat
Yeah, this guy is a pretty cool ol dude...just turned 70. He bought his 1986 Honda Spree new for $399. The 1956 Vespa is in great condition..red and white in color. That Honda Hobbit comes with the original toolkit. He's selling it for $500 cause it only goes 18mph and he wants something that will keep up with the Sprees....
there is a guy in the town next to me that has a old honda like that...
82 PA50. Im assuming its a hobbit.
I got talking to him for a while, He keeps the thing dust free in the back his house attached garage. Then takes it out once a year for "Yard Sale Weekend" where the hole town has yard sales. Thats it. The bike does a solid 27mph and runs like there is no tomorrow.
"Its not what you ride, its that you ride"
1996--------Honda Elite S-
1991--------Tomos Targa-
And a Bunch of other bikes.
There were 2 different speed models made by Honda, the slower one is 99.9% painted red from factory and is only rated at 20mph. The yellow one with white accessories is the faster one and can be modified to go in the 40's pretty easily.
