much mahalo my bradda's... i got my JDM headset from my local Moped God... i paid 240 for it. the only thing is it doesn't come with hard wear and there is a bit of modifying to do it comes with a different handle bars that's about 2" shorter. for night riding you can't beat this headset, well that's if you ballin' and have a live dio headset the only thing is it's very rare.

i know how you feel, i look at it like how i treat my cars my scion i've put atleast 20g's into it, from suspension, force induction, interior, paint, bodykit, wheels, blah blah blah, i'm just into fixing up my stuff. i can't help it! lol as long you have a understanding wife you will be ok. for the price i bought my moped and for all the mods i did to it... it's almost buying a brand new elite back in 97, but looks way better, rides more comfortable, performs like a bat out of *. you can't beat the looks on other moped riders/drivers out on the road. their eye's just pops out and jaw drops... d*** gotta love that feeling.

Aftermarket rims are hard to come by and the "white" wasn't going to cut it. Can't go wrong with chrome IMO.

Nobody selling stock chrome rims here on Oahu. Best bet would be for send your set up mainland. Hawaii Plating told me they get one 8-10 week turn around time. Shop in California took less than 10 days.

Yep, but that's just cuz we like our ride be unique and different than the next guy. How's the cops in Maui? They hassle much?

nah... not that much if you in town side Kahului/Wailuku they kinda watch you and make sure u get papers and safety, if you riding a shu shu can bike then they harass you, but everywhere else they no bother. i read somewhere they crackin' down on modified mopeds. maybe we can do a end of the summer cruise on Maui just hop on the super ferry i know us Maui Boy's would be stoked.
