hey your having fun now how many times did you have to fill up on the trip? i hear they really burn the fuel with mods as you have.ya people look these thing over when your out and about, i know they do on the hot rod kymco too. but its real loud, the arrachee intake , porcapine is louder than the technagas next r pipe,

Doing more riding nowadays than modding and happy about it! :D Most recent trip did 80mi roundtrip ovrnight camping on a scooter rally with 80+ other scoots. The loud Elite got some love from the ooglin spectators heh

Yup intake noise from open filters is always a big source of sound. Mileage wasn't too bad on that trip I used probably just under 2gal. Took off on a full tank and had a spare premixed gallon bungeed at my feet.

Usually see about 40-42mpg on the Elite, not too bad considering the mods.
Even higher than my Vento which gets about 36mpg :shock:

The Jog does better but not great, realistically gets ~55mpg stock and fully tuned up with CF reeds and slightly larger intake manifold off my older Vento.

Whats this.. mods on Jog already?? :twisted:

yeah, i guess i could understand that. You did a good job with all the pictures and what not, and the real facts are good for noobs to read over.

I would wait for NoiseGuy to awnser first.

New tune today, 2K center spring, Stock Jog clutch grab springs,
37.2g in lightened Keli (up from 31.9g), pilot up to 50 from 48, main at 135

Fastest speed yet! Down same flat as last time, with front and rear tuck with knees close in..
73.8 MPH! by Garmin GPS of course :)

I was very suprised to see the new higher speed even with the 2k center, but the extra weight in vari pushed it.

Launch still needs work, but better; and once warmed up theres a flat spot again in between 25-35mph ugh!,
but hey cant have it all right heh 8)

am amazed you can run such a small main jet. the 135 i think would be pretty lean. i run the 152 main with a 50 pilot needle has clip in the midddle and the plug looks good.i know we have to be real careful with heat. when it start pulling a little it make them head to the danger zone quickly. some times i wonder why it is moving close to the 400 mark too, the motors seem to require we pay attention all the time.
you do have a real great running scooter to get the top end up there. i can match that buit i need help from a little breeze behind me. usually a run in the mid to high 60's no wind is bout it for me on a GPS i run 6 g rollers also. which i think are smoked now
