1988 honda elite starting problems

I changed the carburettor, spark plug, fuel lines, and fuel filter. It will not start. I do not know what I need to do to get it running. Does anyone know what I am missing to get it running

Is the carb clean? Do you have spark? Do you have compression?
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Maybe you have the fuel line and vaccume line wrongly attached. Switch them around and see what happens.
