Straight from your flaps (in my case AutoZone) loan-a-tool program - an A/C clutch holding tool. Free on the loan-a-tool program or $18 if you want to keep it.
Works great on the clutch bell while you torque it.

I have a compressor and impact, but I prefer to torqe it properly.

Yeah, explain how you torque it to spec. Is that one "rat tat-tat" or two?
