Clear or different colored tail lights/turn signals/etc? My next task I wanna tackle after I get done with my moped is maybe some clear turn signals and brake lights. I only ask because the start up costs would be expensive any perhaps i could re coup some by selling some here.

Clear brake lights are illegal. Someone would mistake it for a headlight at night. I'm sure turn signals would be illegal clear too.

It will be harder to see. Clear with a red bulb won't illuminate the way a red lense does with a clear bulb. You're begging for trouble trying to do this in my opinion. Your little red bulb with a clear lens may not be visible to a vehicle behind you on a bright sunny day the same way the red lens does.

you have to check your laws on that... clear tail lights are legal here in Michigan and auto parts stores have a clear lens that fit right on the Spree, me and Darat used them on like every spree we ever got

yea, only illegal without red bulb.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
