I installed a new stinger exhaust recently but the rest is the same.
They really are lots of fun. I think maybe for 2009 they might be fuel injected.
what are you going to do with the pipe in the pictures?
i know someone who might want it if you still have it.

Back to topic. Amazing bike. Its got to be one of the best ruckus i have seen. What all do you have done to it motor wise? how fast does it go?

I still have the pipe if you know someone who is interested, and I also have a chrome lowered seatframe that I don't need. As far as the engine it has:
custom K&N intake
custom pipe
polini variator
polini kevlar belt
rejetted stock carb
posh cdi
high performance ignition coil
ngk iridium plug
motul synthetic 4stroke oil

It's not crazy fast but I can roll around all day at 45mph. I've hit 48-50
with a good tailwind but I don't like to rev the engine that high(9000 rpm)
I get so many people asking me about the scooter all the time.
also if you or your buddy have any parts for my elite I'm getting tonight I'd be willing to trade the ruckus parts. Thanx

Ruckus

Post by spreer' »

My Ruckus is beautiful stock. I won't be doing any mods other than the mild intake opening I did as well as removed the restrictor. Mine goes 45 in all the places a Spree will hit 30. The only time it won't is against a strong wind and it makes it feel like it is a fast spree instead of a Ruckus. I will never sell any of my Sprees though. They are great to have if I have a few friends over. They are also half the weight of the Ruck. As far as looks and function, I think as usual Honda did a better job than I can.

Hey spreer, What restrictor did you remove from your ruckus? And they are beautiful stock.
